I Want More - A New Year's Blog For Suddenly Fem by CiCi Kytten

My wish for 2015 is pretty simple. I want more.

MORE acceptance and understanding of trans people from the world at large.

MORE acceptance and understanding of the many colors and variations of the trans experience WITHIN our community.

MORE love of trans children and teens from their families.

MORE understanding of trans spouses from our husbands, wives and partners.

Happy New Year, everyone!

MORE understanding and support in drafting rules and regulations for schools, hospitals, health programs, and other public institutions.

MORE protection under the law.

MORE follow-up by law enforcement

MORE positive portrayals of trans people in the media.

MORE outreach and support to trans people in nations around the world.

MORE schools and teachers standing up to bullies.

MORE celebration of gender-free personal expression.

MORE attendance at political trans events.

MORE closet doors opening.

MORE employment ceilings shattering.

MORE freedom to be me. MORE freedom to be you. MORE strength and courage when we need it to achieve that freedom.

MORE compassion on the part of trans people as we educate and inform our families, loved ones, and communities about our needs, our passions and our dreams.

MORE happy, fulfilled trans people simply going about our lives with our families and our careers.

MORE days without the death of a trans person.. without the break-up of a family... without the shaming of a child... due to ignorance, prejudice and hate.

I’m a realist. I know that as individuals, we can’t do everything on this list. We can't contribute to every cause. We'd be overwhelmed. Burned out.  Exhausted. I understand that. And yet at  the same time, I know in my heart, we can all do MORE.

And that’s my wish for 2015.

Happy New Year, everyone!
Be safe. Be smart. Be sexy.

Ambitious. I will continue to battle the status quo. O.k. Is not good enough, when we can do better.

Many crossdressers and transvestites have a hard enough time as it is getting quality makeup and beauty products without feeling judged or ridiculed. Younique cosmetics solves this challenge. In 2012, they brought to market 3D mascara. No glue, no fake lashes, no pain or embarrassment of losing your lashes. It goes on like regular mascara but gives the look of falsies- but even more flattering because they look like natural lashes. See before and after pictures and order at
